Jody Barth, Kardiac Kids, responding to comments made the last two weeks by Psychedelic B's owner Bryan Vince.

"To the Shadow Bandits: Paul, take $20 out of your son's college savings and put it on Eddie George so you can build for next season."
Barth, commenting on the 0-3 start by Paul Labonte and the Shadow Bandits.

"You know whose brain was supplying the oxygen."
Barth, responding to Vince's allegation that he and Wolverines owner Mike Royer shared the same brain last year as co-owners of the Callouses. Barth's Kardiac Kids are 2-1 while Royer's squad is 0-3.

"We are not pushing the panic button yet!!! BUT, we are listening to trade offers. We are in need of a running back and we are willing to trade anyone except Tim Brown. We're also willing to complete a 3 for 2 trade or 2 for 1 trade. Let me know if interested. Donald Jones, LTP, Lack the Points."
LTP owner Don Jones in an e-mail sent out to all league members this Wednesday.

"Year in and year out I pay no attention to the NFL season for the first 10 weeks because of my employment. But somehow I still always make the playoffs and get no votes for GM of the year. The whole league can suck it."
Cosmic Monsters GM Brad Rzyczycki commenting on the lack of respect he gets from the other Erie League owners. Last year's runner-up, the Monsters have won their first three games of '98 and seven of their last eight dating back to last season.
